The John Lewis Student Center will host early voting for Fulton County residents Oct. 24 and 25, 2024
This election season, Georgia Tech’s John Lewis Student Center (JLSC) will serve as an early voting site for Fulton County residents on October 24 and 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Southern Co. Multicultural Lounge. Located in the heart of campus, the Student Center is a hub for student and civic engagement. It is home to offices dedicated to driving meaningful change and shaping future leaders, including Civic Engagement, the John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways and Student Government Association (SGA). Julia Haley, current Vice President of Undergraduate SGA, assisted in coordinating the Student Center’s role as an early voting site. “I’m thrilled that Georgia Tech will be hosting early voting again this year for this important election, and it feels especially significant to be holding the polling location in a building named for voting rights advocate John Lewis,” said Julia. “I hope that having a convenient voting location on campus will encourage students, whether they are registered on-campus or elsewhere in Fulton County, to engage in the upcoming election.” The Student Center serves as a powerful reminder to the Georgia Tech and local communities of the importance of coming together to make their voices heard.
