Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble and Starbucks will be open from 12 noon - 5 p.m.

Belonging & Student Support

The Belonging & Student Support office is closed but staff are working remotely from 8a.m. - 5 p.m. email belonging@gatech.edu for support.

Burdell's

Burdell's in the John Lewis Student Center will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.

BuzzCard Center

The BuzzCard Office is closed but staff are working remotely and available to support. Please submit a ticket for assistance.

Campus Recreation

The Campus Recreation Center is open with adjusted operating hours to 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.  Program adjustments include:

  • All Fitness programs are cancelled
  • All IM sports are cancelled.
  • Indoor Club Sport Practices will still occur at the regularly scheduled time.
  • Outdoor Club Sports Practices are cancelled.
  • Outdoor Recreation has moved their meetings virtual. 

Center for Mental Health Care & Resources

To access services or for assistance in scheduling appointments, students should call the Center at 404.894.2575. If you are calling after hours, select the option to speak to the after-hours counselor. In the case of an emergency, call GTPD (on-campus) at 404.894.2500 or 911 (off-campus).

Center for Student Engagement

The Center for Student Engagement office is closed but all staff is working remotely and available. Students can contact the office by emailing engage@gatech.edu.

Childcare Services

Information about modified operations will be announced as soon as it is available to parents and families.

Dean of Student's Office

The main office for the Dean of Students may open later than its usual time at 8:00am. If you need to reach the office, please call 404.894.2565. If you have an emergency, please call the GT Police department at 404.894.2500. Our staff will be available throughout the day to speak or meet with students virtually. 

In the event of an after-hours emergency, individuals should contact the Georgia Tech Police Department at (404) 894-2500 and request that the “Dean on Call” be contacted. There is an emergency “Dean on Call” at all times to assist students in need. 

Disability Services

The center is closed but staff are working remotely and available between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Contact dsinfo@gatech.edu or 404.894.2563; 404.894.1664 TTY for support.

Housing and Residence Life

The Area Offices will be open on January 26 for the following hours:

  • North Avenue: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • ECHO: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • WCHO: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • GLC/Tenth and Home: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

If you need assistance after-hours, please reach out to the RA on Duty. If you do not know the RA on Duty phone number and need assistance, their number can be located at all main building entrances.

Parent & Family Programs

Stamps Health Services

The Stamps Health Services building will be closed. All scheduled appointments will be conducted virtually. Students should not come to the Stamps Health Services building for an appointment. Pharmacy, lab and radiology will not be available.  Visit the Stamps website for more specific service information.

STAR Services

STAR (Students’ Temporary Assistance and Resources): While Klemis Kitchen will remain open, the STAR office will be available via email. Contact Steven Fazenbaker for support at steve.fazenbaker@gatech.edu.

Student and Campus Event Centers

The John Lewis Student Center is open for students but we’ve adjusted our operations as follows:

  • Building access: Limited to the GT Community (Buzzcard access only).
  • All scheduled events and meetings in SCEC spaces are canceled.
  • Southern Company Multicultural Lounge: Student staff onsite from 12 - 6p.m. Free art activities and board games will be offered in the space 24/7 for any GT student.
  • Beth Cabrera Reflection Space: Open 24/7 for quiet contemplation and reflection.
  • Grad Lounge: Open with BuzzCard access for GT graduate students. Trivia games will be hosted at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m.
  • Ehmer Theater: Mickey 17 will be shown from 2-5 p.m.
  • Paper & Clay: Open from 12- 8 p.m.
  • Tech Rec: Open for free play from 12-3 p.m.

Student Organization Finance Office (SOFO)

The SOFO office is closed but staff are working remotely and available during normal office hours. Accountants can be contacted directly: https://sofo.gatech.edu/index.php/staff and virtual meetings can still be requested.

Tech Dining

Regular & special hours are located at dining.gatech.edu/hours.  Hours of operation for individual dining locations will be updated within the site information.

Veterans Resource Center

Wellness Empowerment Center
