Aloha Yellow Jackets,

We have an update regarding the chilled water outage and our ongoing efforts to restore full operations across campus. Due to the significant efforts of the staff in Infrastructure & Sustainability, air conditioning has now been restored to several buildings across Student Engagement & Well-Being. Therefore, the following buildings will reopen to the public starting Friday, August 9th, at 8:00 AM. Some operations will remain modified.

  • Nearly all programs and offices in JLSC will return to normal operations.
  • Retail dining options will remain under modified operations until further notice to facilitate necessary preparations to restore full service. Current updates are available on the Tech Dining webpage.
  • Retail dining will continue to be supplemented by additional food trucks located around campus.

  • All programs and offices in SSB will return to normal operations.
  • The Center for Mental Health Care & Resources on-call counselor is once again available on-site in SSB during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, to assist students experiencing a mental health crisis.
